Is 10000 hours or 10 years required to become expert ?
We keep on searching and banging our head, how we can become expert ? Any mantra is available or any short cut we can take ?

The reference of this topic is taken from book "Outliers" written by Malcolm Gladwell.
Lets first understand - What is Outliers ?
10000-HOUR RULE - 10000 hours of practice is required to achieve the level of mastery associated with being a world class expert-in anything.
Some of the experts who have used it very well.
Other examples -
Bounce by Matthew Syed - Syed supports Gladwell’s assertion that a major component of success is many hours of sustained practice. He insists that more than just hours - the practice itself needs to be ‘purposeful’ with high standards and quality feedback.
The Talent Code by Daniel Coyle – Daniel supports this rule and explains that 10,000 hours of deep practice is key to becoming world class.
Talent is Overrated by Geoff Colvin - In math, science, musical composition, swimming, X-ray diagnosis, tennis, literature—no one, not even the most “talented” performers, became great without at least ten years of very hard preparation.

The magic number to become expert from average, in general it takes 10 years -
To sum up, my understanding of 10K Hour Rule, It is not the Innate Talent, but it is Practice and lots of practice makes us to become Expert.
